The member of the PSM Research Team is recognised for his scientific leadership, academic output, and contributions to studies on innovation, AI, and public value in PSM.
Professor and member of the PSM Research Team, Miguel Túñez López, has been awarded the Researcher of the Year prize at the 17th International Conference of Revista Latina de Comunicación Social, one of the most relevant and best-positioned publications in our field. The jury highlighted his scientific leadership, a widely cited academic production and an ongoing dedication to the analysis of innovation and artificial intelligence in the field of communication.
As Director of the RTVE–USC Institutional Chair on Public Service Media in Europe, the award also acknowledges the work of the professor, who in recent years has focused his research on the transformation of Public Service Media in today’s platform ecosystem.
Revista Latina de Comunicación Social also underscored his contribution as Principal Investigator in several competitive projects, helping to define reference models in Spain for the management and evaluation of public value.
The award, promoted by Revista Latina de Comunicación Social, is one of the eight annual prizes through which the journal recognises the talent, perseverance, and dedication of professionals and researchers in the field of Communication Studies.
